The Haberdashery is proud to announce our 2003 Pinup Model. This year's model, Ishmael, hails from Oakridge Tennessee. Our model enjoys, among other activities, sailing, drawing, music, moon-lit walks by the ocean and science fiction novels. To celebrate the selection of this year's pinup, The Haberdashery will be serving Cocktails and good cheer beginning at 7:30pm this evening. Yes, Cocktail Hour is on for this week. Come As You Are - Animal Lovers

Dear Lost Souls,

You will all be relieved to know that the Weber performed superbly last week. Thank you to those of you that made our first barbecue of the season a grand success. In celebration of last week's barbecue, we are going to barbecue this week. And drink.

Yes, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. After we've got a couple of stiff one's down, we'll get out the fire makin' stuff and see what kind of trouble we can cause out back. We will have something on the grill, but you are encouraged to throw your specialty into the mix. Come As You Are - Barbecue Season

Dear Lost Souls,

From the dawn of time, human beings have ventured out into the wilderness with the coming of the spring herds to hunt for the wild game that was so linked to their survival. In reverence of the life force they had inherited, they would pay homage to to the spirit of the wild beast in ceremonies honoring the animal and celebrating the success of the hunt. Now, we too, are invited to celebrate the coming of spring, the passing of the rains and the beginning of this season manifest in the ritual we call The Barbecue. In homage of the season, you are invited to buy a small hunk of flesh (animal or vegetable) on a Styrofoam tray wrapped cellophane from your local flesh vendor, bring it to my house, throw it on a metal grill heated by processed charcoal briquettes, and consume it in the company of our merry tribe.

Yes Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday night. You are invited to join us anytime after 7:30pm for cocktails and good cheer. The grill will be fired up at 7:30pm as well. Please feel free to stop by for a quickie on route to your chosen Friday venue, or to linger indefinitely.
