There will be no Cocktail Hour this week. Instead, I will be attending a film festival of environmental short films at the Oakland Museum . . . with a dance party to follow. The organizer, Zak, has specially asked me to invite all of you. Everyone is welcome, so please come check it out if you have any interest.

They all conspire to distract us from the misery of our mortal coil. “Well, bring it on”, we say. We've survived another winter and the smell of summer is in the air. Barbecue season is just around the corner and . . . most importantly . . . it's Friday!
