It's Haberdite appreciation night at CAYA! As a special demonstration of how much we love you, we are going to have a pizza, pasta, and antipasti party to beat the band! . . . of course, the band is also invited to feast! There will be plenty of food! . . . Please bring along a bottle of wine to share with your fellow Haberdites . . . they are a thirsty lot!

Yes, my Incandescent Italianos, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. Cocktails (and pizza!) will be served at 7.30pm. As always, please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your primary Friday evening Festa della Sera, or to linger indefinitely.

Last evening, at an outstanding Blue Grass / New Grass concert, David Grisman reminded us that today is the 72nd birthday of Jerry Garcia . . . a favorite of the Haberdite Community. Now, what better way to honor Jerry and his legacy, than to hoist a hand crafted cocktail and play a ditty or two in his name? . . . and so we shall!
