Dear Lost Souls,
Late night Monday, key Haberdashery policy makers convened in a surprise Advisory Board session, welcoming back CAYA's European envoy over crepes and cocktails. Facing
poor liquidity and growing unrest by thirsty Haberdites, the board was
forced to accept a bailout offer by previous management ... which has
promised to resume regular Haberdashery activities immediately.
Left under Greek and Italian management for the last two months, the
Haberdashery has been crippled by ongoing closures and gaps in its
service delivery pipeline. A
CAYA spokesperson dismissed any links to the recent departure of the
resident Greek
delegate, claiming the move was previously scheduled and unrelated to
the bailout. The Greek delegate, who could not be reached for a
response, did comment via email saying,
"Sorry about the ivy, dude. I did water the bloody thing!!!"
Faced with the enormity of the crisis, frantic preparations for this Friday's Emergency Referendum began immediately. While officials refuse to comment on the specific content and procedural execution of the Emergency Referendum, a resident alchemist was overheard saying that it promises to be shaking, stirring, and chilling in its complexity and scope ... with an apropos wage 'garnish' to top it off.
