Come As You Are - 9pm Start

Dear Lost Souls,
Thank you all for a great turn out last week! . . . JASUS! . . . You people drink a lot!! But fear not, the cupboards are again bursting with potential and your charge is renewed . . .
Yes, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday night. We will be starting a little late; around 9pm. This will allow your humble host to execute some critical natal-annual business in the big city. But, the doors of our collective retreat will fly open at 9pm, at which time we will be eagerly awaiting your loyal patronage. As always, please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your chosen Friday venue . . . or to linger indefinitely.
Yours,
Greg
Apartment alert: A guy friend from Germany who will be starting work at the Berkeley Labs  is looking for a one-bedroom, or shared apartment starting October 1st (for a year minimum). Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Come As You Are - All Things Equal

Dear Lost Souls,
The Equinox!!! Sun and Earth conspire to lend celestial meaning to our weekly constitution . . . and you would argue with the rhythm of the universe? Yes, my Bonnie spheremates, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. This will be the last official Cocktail Hour of the summer. After this, all Summer Cocktail Hours will be unofficial, or possibly officially non-summer, but definitely official Cocktail Hours, although somewhat unofficial in nature, naturally.
Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm (officially) and you are invited to take in the final ethers of this summer's spectacular performance in the shade of familiar company. The weekend begins at the top of the steps and begs your participation. As always, please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your chosen Friday venue, or to linger indefinitely . . .
Yours,
Greg

Come As You Are - Christening of the New Wing!!

Dear Lost Souls,
Labor Day is now only a memory . . . or in some cases not so much. Summer races on and the equinox looms near. In celebration of a new season, and the Haberdashery's fourth year of operation, we will be christening an entire new wing to our existing facilities with trumpets and fan fare . . . and booze . . . and pistachios.
. . . Yes, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday night and you and yours are invited to swing by our little patch of evening shade for a refreshing beverage of your choosing. Experts will be on hand to . . . do whatever it is that experts do. The weekend begins at the top of the front stoop and continues all the way back to the new back porch/winter garden wing. The ribbon cutting for our new wing will happen at 21:07 hours. Those of you who were residents in Black Rock City over the long weekend should bring along any digital photos, slides, or photos so that our visual effects technician (a.k.a. AV Geek (Smeltzer)) can compile and exhibit the products of our collective amnesia. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. As always, please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your chosen Friday venue . . . or to linger indefinitely.
Yours,
Greg

Come As You Are - No Cocktail Hour

Dear Lost Souls,
Alas, there will be no Cocktail Hour this week as I will by communing with nature and the al'natural in the desert. However, be assured that I will make a toast to you (one and all) when Friday rolls around. I ask that you do the same. Please stay tuned for news about upcoming Cocktail Hours.
Yours,
Greg
