As another week in the proverbial coal mines draws to its inevitable conclusion, and the sneaker-bound drones of our post modern digital dystopia emerge bleary eyed from their interminable assembly lines of first world binary detritus, we look ahead with tearful promise at the latent potential of a midsummer weekend . . . brimming with a sumptuous smorgasbord of Playa fundraisers, pastoral excursion, birthday celebrations, and oases of quiet repose. And behold! . . . just there, beyond the crest of aspiration's foothills, lies the prospect of a Friday night cocktail at The Haberdashery; a sanctuary from the chaos of our time . . . gently shaken, lovingly stirred, and subtly seasoned with eclectic starlight; to be sipped beneath the dappled shade and shadow of low expectations at The Last Resort . . . Come As You Are.
