CAYA; Don't Miss the Haberdashery's Italian Street Food Festival on 12/11

Dear Lost Souls,

The Haberdashery's Italian Street Food Fest is finally here (this Sunday, December 11th, from Noon to 3pm). Don't miss the chance to feast on a great mix of Italian specialties, listen to the toe tapping music of The Karma Dogs, and enjoy West Berkeley's locally crafted Urbano Cellars wines ... served in a limited edition commemorative glass that you can keep and take home. All net proceeds go directly towards supporting Food Shift's great work at fighting food waste and relieving hunger, while improving our national food security. If you register now, you'll get an even better deal on your sampler plate! Please be sure to share this great opportunity (and cause) with your network.

And as if that wasn't enough!? ... yes, my Eclectic Epicureans, Cocktail Hour in on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served at 7.30pm. Please feel free to jingle on by en route to your primary holiday festivities … or to linger indefinitely.

CAYA; Zygmunt Bauman and the Curative Properties of Dolomite Schnapps

Dear Lost Souls,

Special thanks to the Karma Dogs (as well as the rock solid Haberdashery House Band) for last week's outstanding night of improv music, jamming, and old standards! It was some of the best music the Haberdashery 2.0 has enjoyed so far . . . SO FAR!!!! . . . more to come!

And so the Holidays are upon us! Next week is the lost week of our collective Thanksgiving. And so, in the spirit of lostness; The Haberdashery will be moving our solemn communion out to Death Valley National Park to loose ourselves in the infinite cosmic landscape, and give thanks to the spirits of the desert! We invite you to hoist a glass in solidarity from wherever you may find yourself! . . . But, why dwell on the future or past when the temptations of the here and now offer us stimuli beyond compare or comprehension.

Yes, my Potemkin Pilgrims, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening! . . . with special guest Professor Alex Marini, the famous Zygmunt Bauman-onian Sociologist and radical thinker from Trento Italy.  Professor Marini will be critiquing the Bay Area's dearth of development-oriented sociologists and discussing the corporal benefits of Dolomite Schnapps (the congruences are astounding!). His seminar will be followed by Q&A, R&R, B&B, S&M . . . and M&Ms. As always, cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. Please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your primary reductive panel session . . . or to linger indefinitely, indubitably, and impulsively.

Yours,
Los CabaƱero
