Dear Lost Souls, After an emergency session of the European Parliament, and tense negotiations that extended well into the wee hours of the mornin', the Haberdashery has secured approval of the international Irish community to extend Saint Patrick's Day through to this evening at midnight PST. Haberdites near and far are encouraged to capitalize on this diplomatic windfall to share an extra cup'o good cheer with friends, family, and neighbors alike. For our part, the Haberdashery will be hoisting our glasses in sincere gratitude for the genius and fortitude of the Irish! ... who surely would rule the world if the good Lord had not seen fit to invent whiskey! Yes, my Celtic Compatriots, Cocktail Hour is on for this evening. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. As always, please feel free to swing on by for a quick sip'o good cheer on the high road to your Friday evening communion ... or to linger for for a bit 'neath our canopy of verdant hospitality. CAYA; Patty's Day - Get On Your Green

As the whims of the Fates sometime decree, this year the two most important holidays of the year fall back to back; Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's Day! . . . oh and what a glorious season of good cheer it is! We thank you all again for helping to make the Haberdashery Mardi Gras celebration a big success . . . and we now invite you to share a bit o' the cheer with us this Friday evening as we honor the venerable St. Patrick . . . who did a fair amount of soul saving himself! . . . and who, without a doubt, was an accomplished Mixologist as well! St. Patrick's Day is upon us! Need we say more!??? Arr ya' daft?

Yes, my Celtic Compatriots, Cocktail Hour is on for the Friday evening! We will be featuring some Irish tunes . . . live and otherwise . . . along with our usual mix of good cheer and alchemical impressionism. So, get on your green and come celebrate the one day of the year when everybody's liver gets to experience the unbridled joy and tragic agony of being Irish! . . . sampling a few of Ireland's finer exports, and toasting the prospect of an Argentinian Pope! . . . have ya' heard the one about the Corned Beef Empanada?
