CAYA (tonight!) - The Birth of a Nation

The Haberdashery is pleased to host a special mid-week CAYA in celebration of the 4th of July! Since tomorrow is our nation's birthday (and a national holiday), we invite you to officially mark the end of your short week by stopping by to join us for a toast!  . . . and maybe some music and other mischief. What could possibly go wrong!!??

Yes ye Progeny of Liberty, Cocktail Hour is on for this Wednesday evening (tonight!). Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. Please join us as we raise a glass to our founding fathers, our intrepid ancestors, and the great ongoing and fragile experiment in democracy in which we all find ourselves inextricably immersed. As always, please feel free to swagger by for a quickie en route to your primary cry for independence, or to linger indubitably.

CAYA - A Midsummer Night's Drink

July 14th is Bastille Day! ... la Fête nationale of France ... a midsummer watershed, and a reminder of humanity's universal drive to throw off the shackles of oppression and hold accountable oppressive regimes who would seek to supress the power of the human spirit. So let us toast the days of reckoning! ... the glory of Summer's splendor ... and the dedication and sacrifice of the individuals who have paved the way of mankind's struggle towards the ideals of universal liberty and justice. Let hope always shine bright above the darkest horizon! 

Yes, my Heroes of Humanitarianism, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served starting at 7:30pm. Please feel free to storm the Haberdashery's hallowed hall for a quickie en route to your primary révolution, or to linger indefinitely.

It's that time of year again when we all remember how much we love to hate the French! ... or is it, hate to love the French!?? ... in any case, it is an important occasion to celebrate a great nation to whom we are much indebted historically and culturally ... especially for those of us fortunate enough to be from New Orleans! So, don your Tricolour and strike a tune of revolution and emancipation . . . The Haberdashery awaits you to join voices for La Marseillaise!
