As the political season is heating up, summer is starting to cool down. 'Tis the season of the Straw Man . . . when quality discourse yields to petty jibes, and empty triumphs over heralded half truths or shameless misrepresentations. 'Tis the season of the Burning Man . . . when the tribes of NorCal hoist the banner of their Clan, navigating the swirling dust and infernal heat to cleanse their souls with karmic offerings penned on the temple wall; to be consumed upon the communal pyre. 'Tis the season of the Haberdashery . . . when our timeless communion is joined with the promise of new beginnings, to season the brew that fills our communal cup, as we hoist a toast to many future harvests of health and good cheer!
 

Yes, my Loyal Lords and Ladies, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. And, as on any other occasion of our humble gathering, our dedicated team of mixologists waits patiently to temper their craft in the kilns of your alchemical whims . . . though, whims may be provided upon request. Your satisfaction is our fulfillment. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. As always, please feel free to stop by for a quickie en route to your primary campaign . . . or to linger indubitably, insatiably, and indefinitely.
