Each year, the Labor Day weekend firmly seals the fate of summer . . . an Irish wake to the golden glories of a season past, and a harbinger of the looming advent of Gaia's darker humors. Prepare the harvest, return to school, put away the Playa equipment, and take in the dock. 'Tis the season of Brrrrr . . . when even the names of the months foretell the chill that will bring the heralded crimson and gold of autumn's ephemeral reign.
Yes, my Solar Socialites, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening . . . and what better way to celebrate the glory of summer's passing then in the company of your fellow Haberdites . . . the diligent custodians of the CAYA metronome, marking the passing of yet another seven celestial circuits of Apollo's golden chariot. Come join us as we hoist a toast to all that ends, to all that begins again, and to all the promise that will unfold with the glories and sorrows to be revealed in mysteries of the morrow.
