After a laughably clumsy coverup of Canadian proportions, unnamed sources have revealed that the crack-smoking mayor of Toronto, The Honorable Rob Ford, is actually a paid operative for the the mock news series, The Daily Show, with John Stewart.
Stewart, himself a shameless suckler on the hot mic teet, was caught on
microphone commenting, "with Ford on our staff, this show practically
writes itself . . . I just show up and read the copy". Further
investigation has revealed that this Theatre of idiocy actually extends across much of the northern and western hemisphere to include truthy
contributors from Alaska and Minnesota, where for years key politicians
in these states (classified by many as parts of Canada, eh!) have been secretly
supplying Stewart raw uncut material with a astronomically high comedic
street value . . . setting Republican Party policy, evaluating the
effectiveness of universal healthcare, and deftly explaining the subtle
details of American history. Ted Cruz and Rick Perry, additional
'persons of interest' in the expanding Daily Show investigation could not be reached for comment due to crippling cases of 'foot in the mouth' syndrome.
