Dear Lost Souls,



'Tis the season of zombies, witches and goblins, the living dead, and ancient monsters who haunt our waking dreams. They appear everywhere, howling incoherently, and impossible to silence . . . making us fear for our lives, the lives of our children, and the future of the civilized world ... threatening to chase our friends and families from their homes (and even out of the country), to take away affordable healthcare, basic human services, education support, and our constitutional right to privacy. What's more, they seek to extend this diabolical agenda to other nations and peoples who are innocent, and defenseless against their ghoulish onslaught.

 . . . Oh, and it's Halloween too.

Oh yes, my Partisan Partygoers, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served by our not-so-fiendish alchemists starting at 7:30pm. As always, please feel free to wander by for a quickie en route to your primary Friday evening exorcism ... or to haunt us eternally.

But fear not, my überachieving Haberdites, there is a quiet oasis 'just around the bend, a tucked away hollow in the exotic East Bay, a shimmering jewel in the crown of West Berkeley ... WeBe in the Five & Dime ... 'Club Med by-the-Bay' ... 'Martha's Vineyard West' ... The Haberdashery. So Come As You Are, leave your worries by the front stoop, saddle up to the bar, and let our dedicated band of Cabana Boys fulfill your every cocktail fantasy * ... then lose yourself beneath the dappled shade and shadow of low expectations, to wonder idly in a collective dream under the Haberdashery's canopy of eclectic wishing stars.

CAYA; Do Drones Dream of Eclectic Sheep?

Dear Lost Souls,

Onward grinds the cosmic mill, and we are left to wonder idly about the origin of the eternal rhythms that guide the dance of the temporal spheres. Fridays come, and Fridays go . . . as Haberdites of old and new gather for our weekly communion under eclectic wishing stars, plotting our celestial course toward the brighter horizons of our collective dreams. Though near and far, dimmer and brighter, and ever ephemeral in their character, these temporal points of fire and hope set our imaginations to visualizing the unthinkable, harnessing the irrepressible, and manifesting the impossible. Cocktails are like that.

Yes my Clairvoyant Cosmonauts, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening ... and just to keep you on your toes, the Cabana Boyz of West Berkeley have added some luminous enhancements and variety to the Haberdashery's soothing array of eclectic twilight ... forever striving to improve the character of instrumentation for the stimulation of your collective imagination. The first Haberdite to identify all of the improvements will get a customized cocktail, handcrafted by our burly band of dedicated CAYA Alchemists ... who are forever in your service.
