CAYA in Place; Holy Week!

Dear Lost Souls,

Greetings from the Haberdashery Multiverse! 🖖🏼 Come As You Are . . . and stay where ya'll at!

"Good Friday" is always relative . . . but considering the week we've had . . . there was really only room for improvement. From the passing of yet another musical legend, John Prine, to the now likely prospect of candidate Biden being gutted like a fish in the general election, to the dramatic jump in the US Corona death toll, to another series of naked power grabs by 45 . . throw in the usual mix of earthquakes, hurricanes and wars, and you've got the makings for a lovely weekend ride with the four horseman of the apocalypse.
But fear not . . . This evening the Haberdashery will once again offer some minimal respite from the whirlwinds of armageddon as we kick off our Easter celebration in sequestration with some digital fellowship and a crash corse in fluid dynamics. Please join us (at 7:30pm sharp) as we offer a video tutorial on the subtleties of crafting a simply marvelous Caipiriña . . . or Caipirissima . . . or Caipiroska . . . depending upon the state of your depleted alcohol reserves.

We invite you to join us virtually at The Last Resort from your safe haven on our dedicated Haberdashery Zoom channel (Meeting ID#: 510 646 5316) at 7:30pm PST. Feel free to fluidly join the conversation or melt back to your corner of the Multiverse whenever you like. We will maintain the wormhole opening all evening (until about midnight), or until after the last Haberdite signs off.

We are all making this up as we go. But, with a long pour of compassion, a shot of empathy, and more-than-a-dash of patience . . . though we may emerge shaken or stirred . . . our community of Haberdites will navigate this gauntlet of isolation with poise and dignity . . . and an adult beverage in hand.

Now be safe out there . . . and above all else . . . be kind to one another, my fellow Haberdites!

Yours,
Los Cabañeros
