By popular demand, the Haberdashery will be back in San Francisco this week . . . kickin' it at Club 631 Pennsylvania Avenue, on Potrero Hill . . . facilitating all you City folk to Come As You Are, juuuust a little bit closer to home. To tempt your wayward musical souls, we will have special guest DJ Mr. Fabulous spinning the night away; joining us from Italia! We know plenty of you are headed out to the Playa this weekend, so don't be afraid to stop by and show off a little Black Rock City style before you skip town! We are expecting a healthy crowd, so on this occasion, to help us better serve you, we welcome you to contribute your favorites to the bar. A big thanks to Christy Bolingbroke and Aliza Arenson for hosting!

Yes, my Cosmic Urbanauts, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. The stars are gonna be out, the cocktails are gonna be shakin' and stirrin', and the music is gonna be thumpin'. 'Tis the season of the Straw Man . . . when quality discourse yields to petty jibes, and empty triumphs over heralded half truths or shameless misrepresentations. 'Tis the season of the Burning Man . . . when the tribes of NorCal hoist the banner of their Clan, navigating the swirling dust and infernal heat to cleanse their souls with karmic offerings penned on the temple wall; to be consumed upon the communal pyre. 'Tis the season of the Haberdashery . . . when our timeless communion is joined with the promise of new beginnings, to season the brew that fills our communal cup, as we hoist a toast to many future harvests of health and good cheer!

CAYA; Cool Baby! . . . Swingin' with the Rat Pack; Frank is in the house!

Slide into something COOL, BABY! . . . get out your shark skins and tip that Fedora just so . . . come Dino, come Sammy, come Joey, come Franky . . . but most of all Come As You Are! . . . It's time to kick it with the Rat Pack!

This week we will be featuring the original Rat Pack in the original Ocean's Eleven! That's right Man, none of this Clooney/Pitt/Damon/Roberts crap! . . . we're talkin' Sinatra, Martin and the rest of the boys! Park your Politically Correct on the porch, and learn how the bad boys ran Vegas back in the day! The evening's feature film will be softly nestled in a generous bed of swingin' Rat Pack tunes, and of course, the appropriate alchemical accoutrements . . . the Martinis and Manhattans will be shakin', the music will be swingin', and we will also be stirrin' up Frank's favorite cocktail (not a Martini!).
