Thank you all for helping make Haberdashery Mardi Gras 2017 a big success. Special thanks to our DJ and musicians (amazing as they were!!!!) and those who came out on Friday to help with the prep during the Taming of the Roux. We were VERY pleased with the turnout.

With only 339 days to go until FatTuesday, we know that y'all share our concern for being properly trained for Mardi Gras 2018 ... there is just no substitute for good preparation. To get a jump on this, we will be meeting this evening to have a high level discussion about ... God know what.

Yes, my Colloquial Cajuns, Cocktail Hour in on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served starting at 9:00pm. So, please come on by for an adult beverage that suits your whims* and some quality fellowship. Come As You Are; At Least We Have Mardi Gras . . .

T-15 Days! ... The Haberdashery Mardi Gras party will be Saturday, March 4th ... so everyone should be in full training mode for the big day. Hurricanes are in the forecast and our cabana boys are busy planning our emergency response maneuvers to make sure that this will be the best Mardi Gras party ever ... God knows we can use the distraction!

Yes, my Liquored Lilliputians, Cocktail Hour in on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. So, pry yourself away from the unmitigated dumpster fire that is the current state of American politics, and give yourself the gift of an evening nestled in the dappled shade and shadow of our low expectations ... comforted and secure beneath the sparkling promise of our eclectic wishing stars and a magical fluorescent moon. CAYA; M-16 Days to the Haberdashery Mardi Gras Party!

Dear Lost Souls,

Remember! . . . The annual Haberdashery Mardi Gras Party will be on February 23rd this year ... all day ... so mark your calendar and keep up with your training. As this important event nears, you'll want to keep your tolerance high, your cholesterol low, and your appetite strong. For you rookies, this is not a sprint. It's a marathon . . . and everyone wins!

In the mean time, our weekly constitution continues to burn bright on your temporal horizon! . . . marching to the rhythm of the ages, and beating to the cosmic metronome that guides us on our ephemeral journey towards the perfect fulfillment of our collective destinies . . . which is not to say that it isn't perfectly OK to give yourself a break at a karmic 'rest stop' along the way . . .
