Always doing our best to keep your CAYA experience fresh and properly chilled, the Haberdashery will be temporarily relocating operations for the next two weeks to Pioneertown, California, on beautiful Skyline Ranch Road. The air is thinner . . . but that just makes the Cocktails go down that much smoother!

Yes, my Denizens of Dune, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening . . . albeit in a breathtaking new location! . . . where our good friend Rocco will be guest hosting at his picturesque place in the Yucca Valley. CAYA; John Stewart exposed as part of a vast left wing Nordic Conspiracy!

After a laughably clumsy coverup of Canadian proportions, unnamed sources have revealed that the crack-smoking mayor of Toronto, The Honorable Rob Ford, is actually a paid operative for the the mock news series, The Daily Show, with John Stewart. Stewart, himself a shameless suckler on the hot mic teet, was caught on microphone commenting, "with Ford on our staff, this show practically writes itself . . . I just show up and read the copy". Further investigation has revealed that this Theatre of idiocy actually extends across much of the northern and western hemisphere to include truthy contributors from Alaska and Minnesota, where for years key politicians in these states (classified by many as parts of Canada, eh!) have been secretly supplying Stewart raw uncut material with a astronomically high comedic street value . . . setting Republican Party policy, evaluating the effectiveness of universal healthcare, and deftly explaining the subtle details of American history. Ted Cruz and Rick Perry, additional 'persons of interest' in the expanding Daily Show investigation could not be reached for comment due to crippling cases of 'foot in the mouth' syndrome.

Yes, my Cantankerous Canucks, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening . . . and in celebration of Rob Ford's triumphant crusade to become the most outspoken politician in North American history, the Haberdashery will host a special crack smokin', p%$$@ eatin', 'all you can drink' celebration to toast in the dawning of another endless holiday season. Christmas comes but once a year . . . but political wingnuts, degenerate mayors, and extremist nut job windbags are the precious gifts that keep on givin' . . . all year round!

CAYA; Congress Saves Day Light in a Bipartisan Breakthrough

Dear Lost Souls,

In an earthshaking policy coup d'état that defied all currently held conceptions regarding their level of legislative effectiveness, this past week Congress successfully agreed on a strategy for saving one entire hour of day light. The solar energy implications alone are staggering! The new policy, ratified after a scorching debate, was implemented in the early morning hours of November 3rd. Bipartisan support led to an agreement with representatives of incumbent cosmic and celestial forces by which the sun will now rise one hour earlier in the morning and set one hour later in the evening. In a separate decision, the Haberdashery Board, in a late night session punctuated by Caprese Bruschetta, ratified a decision to embrace Congress's bipartisan breakthrough by holding another special session this coming Friday evening. The Haberdashery's legal analyst, Greg Dolge Esq, could not be reached for comment, but is reported to have slept through the entire proceedings.

Calling all piano players! . . . shout out to Greg McCrea, John Graham, and Josh Gelfand! . . . thanks to the generosity of Josh, we now have an in-house Haberdashery Piano on indefinite loan! That means that you piano players no longer need load up your ivory lady, drive her all the way over here, and lug her up the temple stairs to our sacred sanctuary . . . just to jump in the fray. We now have a piano waiting here for your loving attention! Oh the stories she'll tell! . . . how she longs to sing!
