We find ourselves staring down the barrel of another Mardi Gras season, just 5 weeks out from the most important holiday of the year, and the Haberdashery's premiere annual event. Have you been training? Is your liver appraised of the situation? Have you aligned organ donors? Have you started to pick out your outfit? Are you paying attention, damn it!!!!??? This is not a drill! The Gumbo will flow, the Red Beans will jump, the King Cake with reign, the Jambalaya will jam, the live music will thump, and the Hurricanes will blow. And whatever happens next is . . . well, that stays between you and your Mardi Gras beads.

Yes, my Cajun Cousins! Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening, and it is time to start to mentally, spiritually, and euphemistically prepare for Fat Tuesday, which is on March 4th this year. Our annual Haberdashery Soiree will be on Saturday, March 1st . . . actually beginning Friday evening, February 28th with the Festival of the Roux! Oh, I can already hear the smoke alarms going off. This Friday, in celebration of the Mardi Gras season, we will be unveiling another batch of our precious and famous Blade Gin infusion . . . 'cause that is just how much we care!
Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. As always, please feel free to dance on by en route to your primary Mardi Gras season second line . . . or to linger indefinitely.
