No CAYA This Week; T-35 Days to The Haberdashery Mardi Gras Party

Dear Lost Souls,

Research, research, research… it just never ends! There will be no Cocktail Hour this week, as we are in New Orleans engaged in extensive R&D and dedicated field work. Be assured that we are here working tirelessly to pursue the best interests of our global Haberdite community!!

Please be sure to 'save the date' and mark your calendar on March 2nd as the (tentative) date for the 2019 Haberdashery Mardi Gras Party. We will be following up in the coming weeks with additional details and information. Of course, at this point in the Mardi Gras season, all good Haberdites should be well into their training regiment, preparing for the big day!

CAYA - 28 Days? WTF@#&%! Time for the "Shutdown Cocktail"

Dear Lost Souls,

At 28 days and counting, there seems to be no end in sight to the federal government shutdown. Ever cognizant of and responsive to current events, The Haberdashery is pleased to honor, and offer our federally employed Haberdites our specially formulated "Shutdown Cocktail" ... a powerful and surprising kick of bittersweetness that is sure to knock you a bit off balance, with an orange aftertaste that lingers ... with an optional purging chaser that eliminates the after taste; we call it "The Mueller".

Yes, my Fearsome Federalists, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening! Join us as we not-so-diligently solve the problems of the world and debate the finer absurdities of the evening's whimsy. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. Please feel free to scamper on by for a quickie en route to your evening's extended furlough or to linger indefinitely!

CAYA - Lowering the Bar for 2019!!!

Dear Lost Souls,

In a serendipitous and poorly attended emergency midnight year-end meeting, The Haberdashery Bored adopted a marginally defined resolution to lower institutional expectations for 2019* . . . this, after the runaway success of CAYA's 2018 Minimal Disappointment Initiative. Deep ambivalence to all of you 'true blue' Haberdites who couldn’t really be bothered to make much of an effort! 

Yes, my Lethargic Lilliputians, Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening! Join us as we belatedly ring in the New Year, Haberdashery Style. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm ... or whenever. Please feel free to wander by aimlessly for a quickie en route to your evening's default destination, or to loiter indefinitely under a glow of low expectations at The Last Resort.

OK! ... Now, let’s get out there and really under perform in 2019!
