CAYA - 150 Years of Better Chemistry!

Dear Lost Souls,

As all good Haberdites know, this year we are celebrating the International Year of the Periodic Table, marking the 150th anniversary of Dmitri Mendeleev's groundbreaking work visualizing the chemical universe. This week, in particular, we want to give special recognition to the magical combination of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen as they bond to form ethanol, so facilitating our signature hand-crafted cocktails and home brews. Better living through good chemistry is a worthy endeavor, and tonight is your chance to toast the many geniuses and dilettantes who have paved the way for The Haberdashery to celebrate of our weekly communion. We are not drinking ... we are learning!

Yes, my Charismatic Chemists, CAYA is on for this evening. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. please feel free to stop by for a quick bit of enthalpy en route to your primary alchemical rendezvous, or to linger indefinitely as a catalyst for covalent bonding.

CAYA - Celebrating 10 Years of Seasteading

Dear Lost Souls,

This week, The Haberdashery is helping The Seasteading Institute celebrate its 10th Anniversary, hosting international visiting seasteaders and dignitaries who are in town for a weekend of events and celebrations. So, dust off your sailing songs, and come set course for an evening of knotty fun with a swashbuckling mix of music, munchies, and custom crafted cocktails!

Yes, my Natty Ne'rer-do-wells,  Cocktail Hour is on for this Friday evening. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm. Please feel free to sail on by for a quickie en route to your evening's primary port of call or to anchor indefinitely!

Dear Lost Souls,

This week, a special toast goes up to Kathleen and Gene Delaune on their 49^th Wedding Anniversary! God bless em’!! Despite political gyrations, and the battles surrounding CA Proposition 8, somehow the institution of marriage has managed to survive. And what better proof than theirs? . . . that Love supersedes the turbulence of time, politics, and nudging three children out of the nest.

In their honor . . . and in celebration of Love’s triumph over the narrow minded . . . the Haberdashery will consummate our own sacred union, with that CAYA brand of alchemical affection. Whether you prefer something traditional, straight, a bit fruity, hard on the rocks, vigorously shaken, lowball and smooth, or up and neat . . . Los Cabañeros will be on hand to realize your Cocktail Dreams. . . bending over backwards to deliver satisfaction. Its liable to be a long night . . . (no spectators, please).
